Thousands of streets across America can be modified to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians.
1) Place telephone poles underground and use the space for bike paths, pedestrian and social areas. 2) Tear up one side of a street and put in bike paths, pedestrian and social areas. 3) Pass laws that say any new busway construction must be on existing streets. 4) Pass laws to limit the size of intersections. 5) Pass laws that say any busway construction must include removal of specified miles of vehicle roads.
