Key guidelines[]

You don't need to read every guideline before you contribute! However, it's important to appreciate a few main guidelines:

  1. Copyleft - Share and share alike - All Sustainable Community Action wiki text is published under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, which lets contributors enhance and modify each other's work based on a principle known as "copyleft." This means the license allows third parties the right to reuse Sustainable Community Action wiki articles as long as they fully acknowledge the source and pass on that right to others.
  2. Neutral Point of View - Avoid bias. Articles should be written from a neutral point of view, representing differing views on a subject fairly and sympathetically.
  3. Respect other contributors - Contributors come from many different countries and cultures, and have widely different views. Treating others with respect is key to effective collaboration
  4. Check out Boundaries - See also What Permawiki is not

You might also want to take a look at Wikipedia's Behavioral guidelines articles and their Policies and conventions articles, which can be accessed via the Wikipedia Community Portal Of course not all of what is in the Wikipedia articles may apply exactly the same here. Future versions of this article will hopefully clarify.
